Entrepreneur Whose Says Your Website Has To be Traditional?

   (And Outrageously Expensive In Order To Be Or Quickly Become An Effective Marketing Tool!)

A buddy of mine Josh gets paid literally thousands of dollars to create some totally awesome traditional type websites. Primarily for local businesses and service providers of all shapes and sizes within in his local area.

Josh is “The Lebron” if you will of creating websites using robust software like OptimizePress Version 3.0.  In fact when I originally met him and invested in an hour of his consulting.

OptimizePress had recently released version two of their incredibly robust software. And I desperately need a qualified expert (such as him) to slowly walk me through the paces. So I could better understand how to effectively navigate the software.

Fast forward to now. Entrepreneur while it may still make economic sense for you to have a potentially expensive traditional website. For extremely savvy marketing purposes.  Your website which in this particular case.

Can be a non traditional, yet fully functional designated landing page . Whose sole purpose is to capture your ideal prospects (leads) name and primary email address. Say what? Read on to “discover” how this incredibly simple. Yet far too often potentially profitable marketing tool. Can and will give you or your major competitors the decided edge.

So as I previously mentioned above. My buddy Josh whose an extremely talented website builder. And he uses OptimizePress. Depending on whatever their latest version is.

And typically local companies gladly pay him anywhere from $3,500- $10,000 dollars a fully functional traditional website.  And continuously refer him more ongoing business than he currently knows what to do with. (You go cat!)

However, what lots of these smaller, local business owners or service providers with slightly less deep pockets don’t know or even realize yet is this. They could just as easily hire Josh or someone like yours truly. (Who truth told can’t even begin to come close to matching his website building skills using a robust piece of software like OptimizePress Version whatever?)

But yours truly can easily build them a fully functional landing page using Aweber, (My personal paid email service provider of choice.) Their customer service driven award winning service provides a built in landing page/sign up form creator.

At no additional cost mind you. Say what? Nod your heads cadets, because it’s true. Granted, while it’s nowhere near as robust as a paid piece of software as OptimizePress.

Entrepreneur it’s still state of the art and allows you or someone you hire to create state of the art landing pages or sign up forms.(The technical differences will be explained just below.

So Why All This Fuss About This Landing Page Thingy?

Consider these potential advantages of having one versus not having one. Let’s say a local retail furniture store. Which is non franchised and currently only has a single location. But may wish to expand locally in the not so distant future.

Let’s say they’ve already bit the bullet on a not so cheap, fully functional traditional website. Do they still need or should they bother to invest X in having a dedicated landing page built? Absolutely. Huh?

Because -remember entrepreneur- the sole purpose of you or your major competitors, fully functional landing page is so you can capture names and primary email addresses of your ideal prospects. So you can start systematically following up with them with ongoing drip campaigns of practically every kind.

Entrepreneur On Or Offline The Name Of The Game Is Strategic List Or Database Building!

And your (so called) dedicated landing page is the perfect vehicle for this particular marketing process. See the sample dedicated landing page example below. (Extremely important note: While the terms ‘landing page, “capture page” or “sign up forms” are all freely used interchangeably online. Technically there are a few subtle differences between a so called dedicated landing page and or a capture page or sign up form.

Basically you can publish your landing page and it can function as a stand alone web page. Which you or your major competitors can then list the web address online. And your prospects can type the web address into their browser and be taken directly to it.

Although you’d be well advised to purchase a separate, relevant domain of some kind. Preferably with a dot com extension as your first choice. Then you or someone qualified like Josh or myself, simply forwards, (points) your landing page address to your newly acquired domain name.

(And not to worry if this all sounds a little too techie. Because it can typically be done in five minutes or less.)

So glad you finally asked. Now you make sure your landing page address is constantly in front of your ideal prospects. Huh?

Take a look at the sample landing page example below. (And hopefully you’ll start to better appreciate your long term marketing possibilities. Of ‘how’ it can and definitely will not only save you or your major competitors  ton of money on the initial front end of your marketing funnel.

But also free up tons of your incredibly valuable time as well.

First of all. Whether you or your major competitors own a retail furniture, appliance or retail jewelry store. Imagine having a giant cut out like this sample landing page not only inside your store.

But say you or your major competitors pay a couple of local service providers. Like a couple of local barber shops and women’s hair and nail salon owners.

To begin with in order to strategically test. You or major competitors offer to initially pay them $300 or X dollars per month. Just to place one of your market tested cut outs inside their salon or barbershop. Say what?

And every time their place generates at least X amount of opt in subscribers (leads) per month. You automatically pay the owner(s) $500 dollars for the month. ( And BTW aspiring entrepreneur, an additional $500 dollars gross a month equates to an additional $6,000 dollars per year. Say what?
