Have you also noticed ‘how” sadly the vast majority of profit seeking business owners and service providers. They tend to initially anyway. They laser focus all or most of their profit generating energy on trying to create some sort of gross profit on the initial front end of their funnel.
And all but totally neglect the gross profits on their virtually untapped back end. Have you also noticed this all too common situation as well?
Not only should you stop approaching growing (make that), attempting to scale your business or service in this slow growth at best linear way entrepreneur. (Unless you don’t wanna discover “how to” get your business or service to work harder for you than you do on it.)
But going forward start looking for some proven ways to use your initial front end to create opportunity a plenty on the all but neglected back end of your sales funnel. Turn the page and let’s have a much closer look.
This Is Why Building Brand Equity Can And Will Serve You Or Your Major Competitors Incredibly Well!
Case in point. Let’s say you’ve developed some bankable copy writing skills. So much to the point. Business owners and service providers want to start writing you checks.
And let’s say in particular they won’t to hire you out as one of or their primary email marketing campaigns copy writer. Entrepreneur do you or your major competitors have any idea “what” type of previously untapped marketing possibilities you’re sitting on?
Say for instance. ( And strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only.) You could work with the following select professions. High end chiropractors, lawyers who specialize in seven figure estate settlement cases. Dentists and real estate brokers who have multi seven figure businesses.
And then to decide to become the recognized specialists for whichever profession you honestly feel is the most evergreen and offers the most long term income generating possibilities.
And speaking of specializing in email marketing niches. The next man or woman may be become known as the email specialist for the take your pick. The non franchised retail furniture sore industry. Or the email marketing expert for the tax attorney industry. Or the email marketing specialist for the e-commerce site industry. (But specifically the women-s shoe industry.
You Definitely Don’t Have To Embrace And Specialize In Any One Particular Industry to Start! (But If You Do It Certainly Doesn’t Hurt!)
Moving right along you could strategically build your brand around being or becoming the recognized email marketing specialist for the four and five hotel chains. Or the airline industry. Or the tech startup industry etc.
(Say strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only.) You’re one of the worlds top recognized email marketing specialist for the non franchised retail appliance center industry.
But a major airline industry CEO (Chief Executive Officer or CFO (Chief Financial Officer reaches out to you. To offer a potentially lucrative email campaign project. Or a series of them. Depending on the results of the first two or three.
You could negotiate accepting the assignment and receiving upfront $2,000 or X thousands of dollars for the entire series of emails you or your agency writes.
If it’s just you. Then you tell them you’ll gladly accept the remaining x thousands of dollars in form of either super discounted furniture (or retail appliances) you can purchase at their hard cost. Plus free delivery to either your home or office.
Rather than being compensated X amount of dollars upfront and 10-25% on the back end.
Your Creative Financing Options Could Potentially Open The Door To Lots Of Creative Payment Arrangement!
Say you and your spouse or live in significant other. Or in the case of you being divorced with teenage kids you totally adore. You successfully negotiate writing a series of email campaigns or follow up drip campaigns for them. Plus helping them improve their current lead page conversions etc.
And in exchange for you doing so. They pick up the entire tab to fly you and your X number of teenage kids first class. Plus pick up your two week hotel and rental car fees.
Rather than you accepting all or part of your normal fees on the initial front end. Bankable copy writing skills in general and bankable email marketing or direct response marketing skills in particular. Are literally evergreen skills which are always in extremely high demand. Don’t you agree?
