Entrepreneur Here’s One Of Your Major Challenges With So Called Mass Marketing!

Any idea “how” many local small to midsized business owners or service providers still rely heavily on local primetime radio, TV ads or outrageously expensive, major Sunday newspaper ads to try and identify their all important first time customer or clients.

me either but at the end of the day rest assured it’s costing them and potentially a ton of money and other extremely valuable resources. And the longer you continue to go this expensive route the more money will rapidly leave your bank account. With virtually little or no realistic chance of ever being seen or utilized by you again.

On the other hand. Once or as soon as you or your major competitors stop relying on non targeted -traditional- ( constant bank account draining) mass media marketing strategies and tactics. Now you have the opportunity to strategically convert at least part of those long term savings into some potentially viable – non traditional-  lead generation strategies and tactics like you or your major competitors are about to “discover.”…

Entrepreneur Unless Your Company Or Service Has Extremely Deep Pockets! (Don’t Waste Your Money Or Energy On Any Type Of Outrageously Expensive Mass Marketing Strategy Or Tactics!

Wanna take a wild and totally uneducated guess ‘how” many times per week the following all too common situation occurs? Either a married couple or two individuals living together with kids.

One is currently on the way home with either the radio playing or perhaps they’re listening to one of their favorite podcasts. In any event they get a call on their phone.

And it’s either their spouse or significant other asking ‘if” they can (A.) Pick up the kid(s) from violin or soccer practice? And (B.) stop by the store to grab X, Y and Z for tonight’s dinner.

And while they’re talking they turn down either the radio or the podcast for at next 5-7 minutes. And of course this is the exact same time the local vendors ad is running.

Or at least one of the podcaster-s main or new sponsor ‘s ad is being read. (Bummer right?) You add this all too common scenario up for a typical week or month.

And it definitely should quickly become apparent to both you and your major competitors “why” so called untargeted mass media marketing or promoting is so outrageously expensive, right?

While This Mass Marketing Mediums Grab A Nice Chunk Of Your Monthly Advertising Or Marketing Budget Each Week Or Month! (Where Does Or How Does This Major Expense Ultimately Translate Into Some Bank Account Filling Profits For You?)

Now obviously this next point definitely won’t apply to at least 98-99% of the younger visitors under forty. But there’s still an awful lot of individuals who still read their local newspapers.

But see “if” the following situation sounds all too common. You or your spouse or live in significant other drag yourselves in from another extremely grueling day at either your own business/service or your not exactly fulfilling job.

You shower, plop down on the couch and sleep walk through what barely passes for some dinner conversation. And the next thing you it’s 11 or 12 midnight and once again you’ve fallen fast asleep with the TV basically watching you. (Honestly who can relate?)

And this same routine basically occurs over the next three days give or take. And now on the fourth day. You finally have enough time to try and catch up on some reading of one of the local newspapers you still subscribe to.

Only you haven’t had a chance to read the last three delivers. So the $64,000 dollar question is. What do a staggering 99% of individuals do with their old local newspapers? Bingo. They typically throw them out.

Or they use them tore-line the hamster cage. Either way every local vendor who spent their extremely hard earned money on those full and half and quarter page advertisements. “How” did they make out. And that my friend is one of the main challenges with utilizing on relying heavily on any type of so called mass marketing strategies or tactics.

 So Why Not Strategically Convert Some Of Your Mass Marketing Budget Into Market Tested Non Traditional Lead Generation Strategies And Tactics?

Case in point. Let’s say you’re one of the senior marketing/PR (Public Relations) manager for an incredibly popular women-s cosmetic distributorship.

And rather than pay $75,000 – $150,000 dollars for another one of those glitzy full page ad campaigns in a stream of incredibly popular women-s magazines. Instead you divert initially $30,000 dollars to initially A/B split test various potentially profitable marketing or promotional strategies and tactics.

So in order to get the attention of local vendor who sells higher end women-s power pumps. Which typically start at $650 and go up to $1,400 dollars a pair.

You have five of your top female employees. Including your main secretary purchase at least one pair for at least $1,000 dollars each. This should definitely grab the owners attention, right?

And you have one of your top female sales managers explain to them “how” you’d like to help them systematically grow their business for literally pennies on the dollar. Say what?

And your sales rep also explains how your proven methods. not only won’t cost them thousands of dollars. Like they’d typically expect to invest in some type marketing or promotional strategy. Say what?

Entrepreneur These So Called Low Hanging Fruit Marketing Strategies And Tactics Are Low Cost But Extremely Potentially Profitable! (Especially Over The Long Haul!)

Basically here’s “what” you or your major competitors want to initially inexpensively test and monitor the results. To see if it actually makes sense to go forward. But in any event this particular front end marketing strategy won’t cost them a nickel to implement. Huh?

Once you discover “which” particular day of the week is traditionally their slowest day.

And after yo all both the owner(s0 and all of their female staff to pick any one of your most popular mid level fragrances which typically retails for at least $650 dollars a bottle.

But as long as the owner can persuade every current female who works full or part time for the shoe store. As long as all of them agree to not only join you or your major competitors opt in email address and remain an active subscriber.

They all get to purchase the mid level fragrance of their choice. But instead of paying $650 dollars for a bottle. They only pay your actual hard cost of $325 dollars. Huh?

Your Carefully Selected Ethical Bribes Can And Will Generate A Tsunami Of Positive Word Of Mouth And Mouse Buzz! (For Literally Pennies On The Dollar!)

The owner(s) only pay $200 dollars each for the exact same fragrance. Say what? And for their generosity here’s the market tested strategy you or your major competitors are willing to at least initially test with their best customers.

On their slowest day the first 50 or X number of women who spend at least $350 dollars. They automatically get to purchase, (before the leave the store!) a 32 oz. bottle of one of your best selling fragrances.

Which usually retails for at least $350 dollars per bottle. They also join your opt in email list and they get it at your actual hard cost of  $175 plus any and all applicable fees & taxes.

Otherwise if they choose not to join your opt in email list. Yet they still want to purchase a fragrance. They save 10% off the current retail price. But only until they leave the store that particular day. Then the price reverts back to it’s current retail price.

Hopefully you can not only “see” but appreciate “why” so called mass marketing is not your most viable promotional alternative. Don’t you  agree?
