Okay I’m definitely gonna need you to be brutally honest here, okay? if you’ve tried any of the outrageously expensive, traditional methods for consistently generating referrals. How’s it going?

Are you ready to at least inexpensively A/B split test something else? Good answer. but “what” you’re probably asking yourself, right? Fair enough. Well one of the most important shifts you can and definitely must make entrepreneur is in your (so called) marketing perspective. Huh? Meaning the way you tend to look at the initial front, middle (ongoing) or ultimate back end of your potential money making sales funnel possibilities.

So most of (if not all) of you have herd of Internally known and mega best selling author “Tony Robbins,” correct? I figured as much. But did you hear “how” he and his expert team of incredibly sophisticated marketers and techies, literally grossed a billion (with a B) dollars in a single day? say what?

Nod your heads cadets because it’s true. but that’s not what this particular blog post is really about. “Elementary Watson, elementary.” First take a look at his current (as of the publishing of this particular blog post), his current Linkedin profile page. Notice the numbered near the bottom left, which has the red border around it? Yea that one.

Plus notice his profile also says “philanthropist,” does it not? (Again remember, this is just for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. The guy has already, literally raised hundreds of billions of dollars for various charities or foundations worldwide. If not billions. So what if? ….

Entrepreneur Assets Or Potential Resources Just Like Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder!

So please take a closer look at his current number of followers. He currently has a staggering 6,594,926 followers. There are some small cities in America which doesn’t have that many people living in them.

Anyway, what “if” Tony’s expert social media marketing and PR (Public Relations) team did the following. They sent an extremely time sensitive email (or direct) message to all 6,594,926 followers. (Entrepreneur the actual numbers here are irrelevant. It’s the overall marketing concept you have to grasp.)

And asked them to check a box on a lead capture page questionnaire if they loved drinking either:

 1.) Outrageously great tasting Latte’s from Starbucks or the equivalent in their particular area.

 2.) Or outrageously great tasting ice ta in the brutally hot summer months.

3.) Or great tasting gourmet lemonade during the summer.

Who Says This Social Media Marketing Stuff Is All Fun And Games?

And every one who checks the box are told for the next 12 or X number of months. Tony has made a special arrangement with Starbucks or the equivalent in various geographical locations throughout America. And every customer who goes into their nearby Starbucks or equivalent.

They simply show their special coupon via their phone. Or scan their phone across Starbucks special display processor. And instead of paying the usual retail price of $5.79 per cup or X.

They only pay $3.59 per cup. Say what? Starbucks grosses $2.59 or X which helps pay for the beverage, plus help keep the lights on and help the franchise owners keep meeting payroll.

Tony grosses the other dollar. And once a week he or one of his key staff members does a Facebook live and he or they are temporarily blindfolded. They reach into a box and pull out one slip of paper and whichever association or charities name is one the paper.

They get a certified check written to them for that particular weeks gross amount. Now Starbucks is the long term beneficiary of Tony’s team consistently generating referrals for them. For literally pennies on the dollar. Any questions?
