Isn’t It Time You Fully Embraced Some Creative Marketing Ideas For Small Business!

So if someone you trust and totally respect were to ask you. Isn’t it time you fully embraced some type creative marketing ideas for small business owners or service providers? What would your brutally honest answer be?

Because to now. Whatever you’re currently doing. Is it getting you any closer to your desired end result? If not. How much longer do you plan on attempting to make your approach work? Or maybe a an even better and critically eye opening question is. How much longer can you or your major competitors actually afford not to discover some proven methods.

Because remember. Every dollar you invest which doesn’t consistently produce maximum long term results for you. It’s simply a dollar blown. Which in all likelihood. You’ll never ever get back.

How often do you think that happens? Do you really wanna continue down that particular road? Or are you finally ready to embrace or at least test another potentially profitable approach?

So What Type Of Client Retention Strategies Should You At Least Inexpensively Test?

Great question. But before going there. Seriously consider the following sort of semi untapped marketing or long term promotional opportunities.

Going forward. Try as often as you can to stay away or avoid like the plague. Any type of traditional advertising or traditional promotions. Which only generate (at best!) any sort of one to one return. Huh?

Because you get very little if any type of long term residual marketing leverage. Case in point. You or your major competitors pay X for a series of either (PPC) Pay Per Click ad campaigns. Or you spend, (more like!) roll the dice.

And pay X for a series of outrageously expensive, local 30-60 second primetime radio or TV ads. and truth told. The moment the last ad in the series runs. The general public. Which is your totally unfocused target group. They’ve already forgotten your series of outrageously expensive ads have run. Sound all too frighteningly familiar? It definitely should.

In fact. Can you imagine either an extremely close relative, friend, co-worker, respected colleague or neighbor etc. Texting or phoning you about this really TV or radio ad? It ain’t gonna happen.

Especially if they’ve never been properly presented this type of potentially profitable arrangement before. Case in point. Take a few of your areas local, single location, non franchised printing businesses. Huh? Who do they service? Other aspiring entrepreneurs. Correct? Of literally all shapes and sizes.

And other local, non directly competing businesses or service providers. Either have current and future employees do they not? Yep. And they also have constant or indirect to current and future vendors. And those vendors have both current and past employees, do they not?

And direct or indirect access to both current and future other local vendors. Which means entrepreneur. You play your marketing or promotional cards right. And for literally pennies on the dollar. You could be systematically tapping into a perpetual marketing goldmine. Sound good?

And even though you sell lower, mid level and extremely high end dinner wines and tasty champagnes. Without a doubt your real bread and butter beverages. Are your extremely great tasting gourmet coffees, cocoas and exotic ice teas and lemonades.

So you approach one of these independently owned printing business owner(s.) Of course only the ones you’ve already been doing business with for a while.

And you initially propose the following. Especially if they’re currently using opt in email or text messaging. Have them pick out their traditional slowest two days of the week during both the summer and winter months.

And you initially test setting up a make shift portable table. And serve your great tasting coffee to all of their customers, employees and vendors. Say what? Think about the long term positive word of mouth and mouse marketing possibilities for both you and the printer.

  1. Goodness I love power networking Mark! Networking to meet and befriend a bunch of folks daily makes my blogging life easier. Life and business riches are measured in dear friendships. Making buddies feels good but the worldly benefits – riches, success, etc – that friends help you mine, work quite nicely if you live a worldly life. Good post, good message!
