So How The Heck Do You Or Your Major Competitors Stay Afloat During A Financial Crisis?

No matter market, niche, business or industry you and I are or ultimately become involved with. And no matter how well things are currently going. At some point some type of potentially devastating financial crisis will emerge, correct?

And obviously they won’t always be of a financial life and death matter, correct? But still in all. You need to know how to or to develop the right marketing mindset. So going forward. You’ll see potential untapped marketing opportunities or possibilities. Among-st  all of the ongoing financial chaos.

Because for whatever reasons the vast majority of your current or future competitors don’t. Or at least not to the extent you’ll be able to. Have a look and see for yourself….

Just Because Your Local Economy Is Slowing Down! (Doesn’t Automatically Mean Your bank Account Filling Marketing Opportunities Have To!)

Case in point. Every year as sure as there’s a spring and summer.A rather significant percentage of the overall population, for any number of reasons.

Decides to move. Maybe it’s because they just got a better or higher paying job. Or maybe it’s because they’ve had their total number of weekly hours cut from full time to less than full time. Or maybe they’re moving to be closer to their immediate family members.

Or maybe they just rented their first apartment or they’re in the process of purchasing first house.

Or maybe they’re currently going through a messy and long drawn out divorce. Or maybe they just got married. Or maybe just need a physical change in scenery etc.

Obviously there can and usually are lots of reasons for someone moving, right? Maybe they just landed or got offered their new dream job. Which requires them to relocate halfway across the country.

And on and on the potential reasons go. But when you add in a temporary or prolonged financial crisis of any kind. Believe it or not. You’ve also got the potential makings of some low hanging fruit marketing possibilities. Say what?

Since Most Companies Or Marketers Are Drastically Cutting Back During A Financial Crisis! (How Or What Can You Consistently Do To Monetize It?)

Great question. For a moment. Think about what typically starts to happen when any type of temporary or prolonged financial crisis hits. Most companies initially cut way back on their traditional advertising or promotional budgets, right? And the initial ripple affect is.

Salaried or hourly workers in those positions. They feel it because either they lose their jobs temporarily or altogether. Or their hours are dramatically reduced, right?

And sometimes workers, are forced to accept their reduced pay along with drastically reduced benefits too. Or they’re free to seek employment opportunities elsewhere.

And by the same token as all of this financial chaos is taking place. Various types of extremely high skilled freelance workers, typically swoop in and help fill the gaps. Say what?

Just Because There’s A Nagging Local Recession Doesn’t Automatically Less Money Is Actually Being Made!

Because initially they don’t demand standard benefits. Which drastically lowers the employers upfront out of pocket cost. Especially small business owners or service providers.

And some of the higher skilled freelancers, (initially) or over time. They’ll gladly work off of a commission or mutually beneficial-creative- barter arrangement of some kind. Huh?

After all. What if you (as a proactive freelancer) could drastically reduce or eliminate altogether. Your potentially expensive customer acquisition (lead generation cost.)

And revenue share with a potential JV (Joint Venture ) partner. Whether they’re a major corporate player or just an enterprising individual.

There Are More Untapped Ways To Profit During A So Called Financial Crisis Than You May Currently Realize Or Appreciate!

Consider the following. Let’s say a major corporate player temporarily lays off 50 full time workers, who currently have some type of standard benefits package. And immediately replaces them with 50 or X number of freelance workers. With no immediate access to company benefits. Clearly doing so hurts those former employees or associates, right? Agreed!

But strictly from a bottom line point of view. (Which is ultimately how the employers are looking at it.) They just saved a ton of upfront out of pocket expenses, did they not? Absolutely. But what if you and I could moonlight like freelancers. And create the same type of potentially profitable JV arrangements, with other non directly competing vendors. Huh?

And then market or promote a digital based product or service with the host. And just share equally or create some type of revenue share arrangement, both could live with.

Would those types of plentiful possibilities be worth exploring? Agreed.

This Is Just One Of The Main Reasons Why You Ought To Be Strategically Guest Podcasting! (Or If You Have The Time And Expertise Running Your Own Podcast!)

Are you familiar with Matt “MinddogTv” Nappo? He runs an incredibly popular podcast over at “MinddogTv.com.” And yours truly was recently a guest on his show. (Please see the screenshot image below.)

Financial crisis

So How The Heck Do You Or Your Major Competitors Stay Afloat During A Financial Crisis?

The point being. During any time of financial crisis. People tend to look even more for qualified experts of all kinds in all types of niches.

And Matt’s incredibly popular show is certainly no exception, when it comes to consistently providing his laser targeted -and steadily growing- audience, with market tested, low hanging fruit marketing solutions.

Now you and and I or your major competitors could continually invest a fortune in potentially expensive and steadily increasing in price, paid PPC (Pay per Click) Facebook or Instagram ad campaigns.

And eventually develop a winning or scale- able ad campaign. Or like a gazillion others. You may continually struggle to create profitable ad campaigns.

On the other hand. As soon as Matt and I finished recording our highly informative episode. He made me aware each new episode has somewhere between 20,000 -30,000 downloads over the next 4-5 week period. Say what? In part two of this ongoing series.

Let’s really dive a bit deeper into these numbers and currently untapped marketing possibilities. Okay? Thanks. But for now. Consider those subscribers volunteered to subscribe did they not?

(BTW, if you like to watch the entire 60 plus minute episode. Just click the image above to be taken directly to Matt’s youtube channel.)

The Money’s There Provided You Can Consistently Provide The Value!

And this particular episode is just over 60 minutes. So image if just a measly half of one percent of 30,000 subscribers decided to attend a paid 120 minute webinar.

To “discover” even more advanced marketing strategies and tactics, which were initially covered in my free guest podcast appearance.

And they each invest just $297 dollars. 150, which is half of 300. And 300 hundred is one percent of 30,000. (30,000 x .01% = 300 divided by two equals 150 x $297 = $44,550 dollars. On the initial front end only.)

And we JV revenue share 50/50. Means we both just grossed an additional $22,275 dollars each. Before any refund requests.) Not a bad pay day for 120 minutes worth of work. Right? Agreed.

Or what if only half of 150 or 75 people signed up at just $97 dollars each. You or you major competitors will split $7,275 dollars. (This equals $3,637.50 dollars.Which is still a heck of a good pay rate for just 120 minutes worth of work you truly enjoy doing. Don’t you agree?

Don’t just see a financial crisis of any kind as a time to automatically pull back. Recognize it’s also a proven time to get and remain proactive.

So How Do You Advertise Creatively? (In This Age Of Outrageously Loud Noise!)

Simply. You be or quickly become one of the main resources or assets within your specific niche.Who consistently and strategically helps your target audience the main issues or most demanding problems or concerns.

And they’ll not only start seeking you out far more often. But they enthusiastically help spread the word of mouth and mouse. Meaining, both on and off of social media
