You really don’t have to waste the vast majority of your time and or resources, trying to come up with your very best marketing ideas and or strategies ever.

And have you also noticed, how creative some of these outrageously expensive, traditional advertising and or promotional campaigns are?

But what may not be as readily obvious is. While these companies with extremely deep corporate pockets,(and extremely high level connections) do indeed routinely spend a ton of money, on outrageously expensive advertising and or promotional campaigns.

The vast majority of these glitzy promotions, are dismally ineffective. Sure, a few front end sales are generated.

But by in large, these promotions don’t even or barely cover their initial up front cost. Say what?  Nod your heads cadets, because it’s true.

But rest assured, this simply doesn’t not have to be the case. As you’re about to discover.

You Can Definitely Build Your Business Without Wasting A Ton Of Money On Madison Avenue Type Advertising And Or Promotions!

Say for example. Let’s say you run a single location retail jewelry store and to date, your ideal customer, currently has a total lifetime customer value metric, of somewhere between $6,500-$13,000 dollars. Give or take over the next five to seven year period.

This being the case. You could, (but you probably shouldn’t), continue to waste tons of your extremely hard earned dollars, on those outrageously expensive, dismally performing,local prime time radio and or TV ads.

Now try this line of thought. Since you’ve already established that your ideal jewelry purchasing customer, has a total lifetime customer value of somewhere between $6,500- $13,000 dollars. Or X.

Try To Consistently Implement Some Business Marketing Strategies Which Continuously Help Build Your Brand!

Let’s say you successfully negotiate, a couple of strategically alliances, with one of the top rated local restaurants, and one of the top beverage distributorships.

So here’s how things might initially play out.As soon as a local, non franchised moving company gets a customer, whose moving into the area, and or across town, and their bill is over X.

You have them give the customer, a sealed envelop with the words “Thank You!” in big bold red letters on the outside of the envelop.  😀

You know it will be ripped open in record time, correct!  😀 And once they do, they will discover there are at least four potentially beneficial goodies inside.

Companies With Good Marketing Strategies And Or Tactics Usually Do Pretty Well!

Which ethically bribes their customers, for their referrals!

 2.) Second: One of your very best, extremely time sensitive, market tested offers, will ethically bribe the moving customer, for not only coming to your store and bringing a first time guest, whose at least 18 with them.

For doing so, they’ll automatically save a whopping 40 (or X% off ) any purchase, up to $1,500 dollars.

In reality, your jewelry retail store, will buy (either) the champagne and or wine, at their actual cost, and the extremely time sensitive gift certificate, will allow the movers customers, to obtain some serious bragging rights! Don’t you agree?

  1. Well written post! I’m a marketing addict! I tend to spend money on marketing my business with few returns. I’ve just suddenly realized that I need to focus more on SEO optimization and Pinterest instead of chasing after every big thing in the marketing industry. I hope it works out well in the end…
