Your enterprise does have some type of proven small business marketing strategy and or process currently in place, correct?
This is good. But when it comes to the successful and consistent implementation of it, are you staying the course or not?
And do you have a practical plan of daily or weekly implementation, currently in place or not?
If you currently don’t, don’t feel too bad, (because) believe it or not, the vast majority of your peers,(major competitors) are pretty much winging it too.
And the truth told, with a few simple, yet measured tweaks, they or you, could be successfully implementing, some totally measurable strategies and or tactics.Which can definitely help you stabilize your income and take your resourced challenged small business, and or service to the very next level or two.
So How Do You Keep Things In The Proper Perspective So Your Small Business Marketing Strategies Or Tactics can Really Help Your Enterprise Grow!
Case in point. Sadly, far too many aspiring entrepreneurs, especially those still attempting to claw their way out of the resource draining start up phase.
In most cases, at least 80-95% of their resources, are devoted one way or the other, to consistently generating, those all important,(and outrageously expensive), first time customers, patients and or initial clients.
Which leaves very little remaining cash left,to help grow or sustain the business.Because remember, typically your customers initial purchase, barely covers your hard cost, and or you hope to just break even, and or lose a slight amount on their very first purchase or two.
Typically, generating first time customers, patients and or clients, are outrageously expensive to initially generate, no matter what type of business and or service you run.(Or wish to run. 😎 )
Especially when you’re attempting to use the traditional methods and or outrageously expensive advertising mediums.
Don’t Hesitate To Consistently Implement Some Proven Retail Selling Tips!
Conversely, were you to allocate, somewhere between 50-60% of your available, marketing and or promotional resources, to reselling, upselling, repeat selling and cross promoting, your existing customers and or clients etc.
Your venture, can and definitely will, start to generate both some front and back end gross profits, a whole lot sooner.
Next, where you to allocate at least 15-25%, trying to -either- reactivate inactive and or ex customers, again, since they’re already familiar with your business and or service, typically, unless the original reason they left, was because of dreadful customer service.
It will probably be a whole less expensive, to reactivate them, compared to trying to generate first time customers, from your outrageously expensive traditional cold market.
And finally, your remaining 15-20%, should be solely dedicated to consistently tying to generate some brand new first time customers, via your cold market promotional and or battlefield tested marketing strategies.
(Important note: Remember, if your business and or service is in the initial start up phase, (as previously mentioned), you simply must allocate the vast majority of resources, to consistently trying to generate first time customers, clients and or patients.
Please Don’t Discount Some Of The Less Traditional Ways To Promote Your Business And Or Service!
Taking things just a step or two further. Please don’t discount, the following three, potentially profitable marketing strategies and or tactics.
1.) Potential marketing strategy # one: Just learning ‘how to’ increase the average size of your typical customer and or clients purchases, by just ten or twenty percent, will dramatically increase the overall profitability of your entire business/service.
2.) Potential marketing strategy # two: Or learning ‘how to’ strategy increase, how often your ideal customers,patients and or clients purchases from you.
Will quickly improve your overall bottom line as well.
3.) Potential marketing strategy # three: And finally, learning ‘how to’ consistently convert, your one time customers, into perpetual ongoing income, will allow you so many more, untapped marketing opportunities and or possibilities.
For ex; suppose a first time commercial customer, finds your computer/repair, software development and consulting company online. And they use your brand new, first time only customer discount coupon, to make their very first purchase to save X.
But you wisely convert them into an ongoing customer, who joins your monthly maintenance plan, where they can either spend X per month, for your comprehensive maintenance plan. Or they can make one annual payment and save an additional X% per year.
Your Small Business Marketing Ideas Don’t Have To Hit It Out Of The Park Each Time In Order To Be Effective!
Either way, you’ve just converted an outrageously expensive one time sale, into an ongoing income stream of some kind, have you not?
And of course, this exact same market tested concept, can and will apply equally well to a well structured carpet cleaning service, roofing contractor and or landscaping service etc.
And of course, these proven income enhancing strategies or tactics, are merely the tip of the front end, of your businesses long term sales funnel. With a few strategic tweaks, you could literally be sitting on a proverbial goldmine.
And learning ‘how to’increase the overall productivity of your top, in or outside sales reps or increasing the overall conversion of your offline post cards, sales pages and or web sales pages etc.
You add all these categories together, and just a slight improvement in each area, of just five percent each, and your business and or service, is on the fast track to mega profitability, don’t you agree?
