How This Major Email Marketing Mistake Is Potentially Costing You A Fortune!

So now that you’ve discovered, a major email marketing mistake, in part one, which (unfortunately), tons of aspiring online marketers, constantly make.

You probably, mistakenly think, or thought, you were out of the woods, (so to speak), correct?

Well you’re not, and you’re not even close to being so.
For one thing, as you also previously discovered in part one, of this ongoing series, once your subscriber actually joins your opt in list. My friend, this is when the real work begins.

But it’s critically important for you (to both) realize and appreciate, what you do to, or for your subscribers, from here on out, will definitely, make or break your chances, of building and establishing, any type of bankable cred with them.So over deliver, and under promise.Because doing so, opens far more doors than it closes!

So What Other Major Email Marketing Mistakes Are Potentially Costing You A Fortune?

Here’s another, potentially huge red flag, which, if left unchecked, could potentially cost you a ton of money as well.

To say you’re definitely walking a rather fine line, when it comes to, how soon, or how often, you should be making offers in your email follow up sequences, vs how much pure, value driven, problem solving content, you should continuously be providing.

It all truly all depends on your particular target audience. However, as a loose, general rule of thumb. You should be constantly providing, at least 80% (or more) of ‘how to’, problem solving content.Tailored specifically to your target audience.

While the remaining 20% or less, can and should be dedicated, to providing some extremely viable, products and or services, which definitely help your target audience, solve some of their most pressing, issues and or concerns.

Your Proven Email Marketing Strategies Should Attract Not Repel Your Ideal Customers And Or Clients!

If, for whatever reason(s), you get the 80/20 rule backwards! Meaning, you constantly send your subscribers 80% or more, blatant sales pitches, for this or that product and or service etc.

And only 20% of your content, or less, is actually dedicated to helping your subscribers overcome their major issues, problems and or concerns etc.

Nothing will cause them to hit the ‘unsubscribe’ button faster! Here’s the other thing to consider, once your subscriber, initially downloads your potential problem solving lead magnet.

Their natural enthusiasm for your products, and or services, immediately starts to, gradually taper off.But that natural progression, will be greatly accelerated, if 80% or more, of (either) your pre- written, and or previously unscheduled ‘broadcast’ email messages, are nothing more, than thinly disguised sales pitches.

Your Email Marketing Strategies Can Be A Potentially Inexpensive Way To Prime Your Sales Funnel!

You can and definitely should, use your pre- written, follow up email marketing campaigns, to further educate your most qualified prospects.

And you can and definitely should, use your unscheduled ‘broadcast’ email alert messages, to inform your subscribers, of any extended sales events. An or last minute changes, which could possibly be of benefit to them.

And or, any last minute improvements, and or incentives, you may have added, by popular demand, to one of your sales events.

Or maybe at the last possible moment, you had to reschedule, and or relocate a physical event, to an entire different physical location.

Imagine trying to contact 1,500 opt in subscribers,(or more!) by tomorrow at noon, using (either) your phone and or snail mail postcards! Forget about it!

Don’t Rely On Free Email Service Providers To Provide Your Quality Content To Your Target Audience!

But, with your paid email service provider, you simply send an unscheduled, last minute ‘broadcast’ email message to all of your relevant lists, and with the push of a button, and the wonders of modern technology, and an industry standard leading, 99% deliver- ability rate.

At least your message will make it to their inbox. If they’ll actually open it, read the contents, click through to your sales and or affiliate page, and make a  purchase of some kind, definitely remains to be seen!

And that’s an entirely different post for sure. The main point here being, you definitely want to avoid, one of these major email marketing mistakes! Don’t you agree?
