So after reading part one of this ongoing series, can you now appreciate, some of the major similarities between, offline power marketing opportunities, and strategic blogging?
For one thing, most offline -traditional- advertising campaigns, last only as long as the money which fuels them, correct?
Meaning; perhaps you’ve noticed, once your ability or willingness to pay for the ads, and or conventional promotions stops, so do the ads!Funny how that whole process works,right?
On the other hand, with a little strategic (offline) power marketing added to the mix, you can quite literally, fuel some constant, positive word of mouth & mouse buzz, for years and years to come!
And the best part is, when implemented correctly, there doesn’t have to be one additional nickel of -upfront out of pocket cost on your part, and yet, your positive word of mouth or mouse campaign can literally roll on for years!
Power blogging offers some of the same viral marketing opportunities and or possibilities.Let’s have a closer look at an instance or two.
Can Online Power Blogging Really Rival Offline Power Marketing Opportunities?
Most certainly! But-right out of the gate- let’s be (extremely) realistic, in terms of your overall expectation levels!Now just so you know and understand, when I personally use the term “power blogging”, I’m not just referring to the actual number of blog post, you post to your self hosted WordPress blog!
No way! That term also refers to your strategic use of the various social media platforms, and any and all guest blogging opportunities you readily take advantage of as well. And any and all “round up” blog post you initiate and or participate in etc.
Thus the sort of all encompassing term “power blogging.”Ladies & gentlemen, can you appreciate, whenever a business owner, service provider and or start up entrepreneur, risks their hard earned capital, (especially) if they have extremely limited financial resources!
And they pay for any type of traditional ad campaign and or promotion, there is always the very real possibility, absolutely no one, and or not enough business will be conducted, in order to further fuel future campaigns!
Creative Blogging Just Like Creative Power Marketing Can Yield Potential Huge Payoffs!
You recognize that all too real possibility, do you not? And if this turns out to be the case, the money invested is (not only) gone for good, but the entrepreneur has no future chance to utilize the money in different, potential marketing options, which may yield huge future payoffs!
Case in point; let’s say an extremely savvy retail furniture store, allows a local developer (with an outstanding reputation), to showcase some of their most- expensive- repossessed furniture, in some of their best upscale homes!
This way, as prospective -higher income earning- prospects tour these homes, both on and offline, they not only see these posh homes, they also see this luxury furniture and accessories too!(And they frequently tweet, and on post updates on Facebook and Instagram about their ongoing experiences!
And the realtor/broker(s) which lists these homes, guess what, they will be allowed to purchase up to $4,000 dollars worth of furniture each, at the retailers actual cost!
Sometimes The Simplest Marketing Tips Work Best!
This way, whenever guests, friends,relatives,in laws, extremely close family members, trusted and respected associates, and or next door neighbors visit their home, the furniture concerns products, will constantly be generating a positive word of mouth buzz for them!
With no additional upfront out of pocket cost!Entrepreneur, try funding a traditional, outrageously expensive,ongoing ad campaign, paying for it only once, and not paying again for continuous ad exposure! Good luck with that!
Power Blogging Is Most Definitely A Viable Marketing Option!
Ladies & gentlemen, for just a second, think about the enormous upfront, out of pocket cost(s), typically associated with any traditional, massive ad campaign and or promotion etc.
Whether, you’re talking about local or national radio ad campaigns, local or national TV or newspaper campaigns as well.
The bottom line is, those completely doable options are not cheap!Correct? On the other hand once you or somebody within your business, is semi competent, with regards to (both) on and off page SEO (Search Engine Optimization) principles and practices etc.
As you create keyword specific blog post (and or videos), aimed directly at solving your target markets primary issues and or concerns, those blog posts and lead generating videos, can over time, end up ranked on the 1st or second page of either Google and or one of the other major search engines pages.
And as long as they remain there, brand new and repeat-targeted- traffic, can potentially find them, correct?
And let’s not forget, you also have the option of emailing your subscribers the link to your current blog post and or video, do you not? Absolutely!
Your Small Business And Or Service Is A Creative Marketing Campaign Waiting To Be Unleashed!
And those subscribers of your blogs RRS (Really Simple Syndication) feed, they will automatically receive your latest blog posts as well!
And of course, any of the aforementioned subscribers, may also decide to either, link directly to your WordPress blog, and or to forward your post to their friends, colleagues and or opt in email subscribers!
And entrepreneur, how much did any of this additional, viral exposure cost you, in terms of upfront out of pocket cost!So hopefully, the dots have now been connected, meaning, power blogging most certainly, (when properly) executed, can and does have an awful lot in common, with offline power marketing.Don’t you agree?
