Why Being An Entrepreneur Means Finding Proven Ways To Add Value!

(To Your Best Customers And Clients!)

So have you ever gone looking for a house to buy, sort of settle on one, that happens to be of real interest to you, and it’s being listed by a local real estate agent?

And you (either) initially call and or email the agent for some more involved details.

And soon after the agent determines you are (both) potentially qualified to purchase the home and or investment property, and you’re serious about possibly doing purchasing it.

So they offer you an additional private number to reach them over the weekend, anytime you and or your banker/financier need to do so.

That’s called being an entrepreneur, an adding value right? And the men & women who consistently do those types of things, more times than not, end up on top.Do they not? Absolutely!

The remainder of this particular post will provide even more proven ways, which demonstrate why, being an entrepreneur definitely means adding more value, to your customers and clients buying experience!

So Who’s Still Confused As To How And Why Being An Entrepreneur Definitely Means Adding More Value To Your Customers And Or Clients!

Here’s a classic example from super market giant Stew Leonards. Since one of the stores managers is on a first name basis, with several of the store-s oldest, most loyal repeat customers.

Patrons, who quite literally, have been shopping at the store for years upon years. So who can accurately say, what these particular patrons total customer lifetime value  really is.Right?

Only because, included within those numbers over the years, are those patrons many positive word of mouth, and perhaps mouse accolades.

And Stew Leonards has been the ultimate beneficiary, without having to invest an additional nickel, in any type of traditional, outrageously expensive, local TV, radio and or newspaper advertisements!

Real Entrepreneurship Offers Tons Of Opportunities To Add Value!

That said, on one particular day, one of the stores most reliable, long term repeat customers, made it to the cashier, when they suddenly realized, she had inadvertently forgot her wallet at home!

Meanwhile, the cashier had rang up in access of $100 dollars worth of groceries! This fast thinking cashier, who also recognized this long term repeat customer, quickly paged the store manager on duty.

And he ultimately allowed one of their best, long term repeat customers, to (not only) leave the store with her groceries in hand, but paged an associate, to escort her to her car and assist with loading the groceries, and told the patron, to simply return to the store, with either cash and or a check, and pay it at her earliest convenience!

My friend, is that a text book example of being an entrepreneur who definitely understands how to add value to their customers buying experience or what?

Effective Lead Generation Opportunities Come In Many Forms! (Would You Not Agree?)

Now let’s take a look at a hypothetical marketing example, which hopefully will further demonstrate how, being an entrepreneur, definitely means adding enormous value, to your customers, clients, and or patients buying experience with your particular company and or service.

As some of you may (or may not) already know, my paid email service provider of choice, Aweber, currently offers their paying customers, a direct toll free line, you can call, M-F, and talk directly for free, as long as you need to.

To their customer care service expert(s), who are more than qualified, to walk you through any and every aspect of using their professional, state of the art, paid email management software.

And if you contrast that one particular benefit alone, against what you would normally expect to pay a qualified expert coach/mentor, for some extremely valuable, one on one consulting time, to learn the exact same things!

You’ll quickly realize (and totally) appreciate, Awebers current, upward sliding scale payment structure, is still a relative bargain, by any stretch of the imagination.

Especially, if you’re just starting out, and are still a relative newbie, to the entire, opt in email list building aspect, of successful online marketing.

Ever Notice How Some Of The Very Best Entrepreneurial Ideas Revolve Around Rendering Good Service!

With that said, here’s the real point. To date, Aweber currently has in excess of 120,000 extremely satisfied customers, in any practically any type of category you care to name. And their ever growing customer base,is worldwide.

However, as of right now, even if you’re one of their extremely valuable paying customers, if for some odd reason, you need to correspond with their office on the weekend.

You can still do so, but by email and or live chat service only!Hmm? Entrepreneur, do you smell, an opportunity, for Aweber, and or, one of their major competitors, with a similar setup, to roll the red carpet here!Huh?

Real Entrepreneurship Means Constantly Evolving Does It not?

Try this, what if (initially) on an extremely limited alpha test basis, Aweber announces on their state of the art WordPress blog, now for those valued customers, who for whatever reasons, occasionally need and definitely want toll free access to Aweber’s customer care experts, seven days a week, instead of just five!

For an additional $7 dollars a month,(or X) added to your current monthly service charge, you can now have that much needed access!

Ladies & gentlemen, if only one percent, of Aweber-s extremely valuable customer base, enthusiastically embraces this particular offer!

You Keep Adding Unexpected Value To Your Customers Or Clients Lives And watch What Ultimately Starts To Happen To Your Bottom Line!

It would mean, an additional 1,200 customers, just added an additional $8,400 dollars per month, to Awebers bottom line!

Or an additional $100,800 dollars per year, to their gross profit margins! (120,000 x 01% =1,200 x $7 =$8,400 more per month x 12 = an additional $100,800 dollars in gross profits.) Now as is customary during this part of our show.

Ladies & gentlemen, is that not a prime time example of being an entrepreneur who adds value to their customers buying experience! You got that right! Now as is customary during this part of our show.

  1. Hey Mark,

These are some great example of what entrepreneurship is all about.

Adding value is key and at the same time making it a win/win!

Although I also use AWeber, I didn’t know about the weekend tech support. Now you just made yourself look like an entrepreneur by sharing this information with all of us that use it!

Thanks for the share Mark! Have a great weekend!

    • Thanks Sherman!
It’s always great to see you and get you expert take!

Like you, I too currently use Aweber. And even though, as far as we both
know, they don’t officially offer any live service to any of their
      valued customer.

But rest assured, their very best customers, can most certainly get a hold
of someone, should they need to!LOL!

My only point with that specific example, even if a measly one
percent of their current 120,000 satisfied customer base wanted access to
      the additional customized option.

It would make sense for any of the major -paid- email service providers,
like Aweber, Constant Contact, Get Response, Infusion Soft or I-contact
      to do so!

Thank for stopping by and sharing you thoughts! It’s always good to see you!

  2. Hi Mark,

I love how many ways entrepreneurs can find to add value, and you’ve given some examples here.

The bottom line is to make your customer feel special and in as personal a way as possible… even if you have to help her load her car with groceries she hasn’t paid for… yet 🙂

And isn’t that an awesome example of top flight customer
      service in action!

What small business and or service provider can’t learn some type
of extremely valuable marketing lesson from that particular example?

No major ad or marketing budget needed there!I’m definitely with you coach, just
the extremely kind gesture of helping her load groceries in her car, which she hasn’t
paid for yet has probably assured her loyalty for the rest of her life!

Thanks so much for sharing your extremely ken insights!I definitely appreciate it!
