How Some Extremely Crafty Small Business Owners Build An Army Of Advertising Reps!

Ladies & gentlemen, have you noticed, there really is no (so called) free lunch?

Have you noticed and finally come to that startling realization too?

Meaning; every body, you and I included, definitely have our own distinct reasons and or agenda, (or goals), if you prefer, for doing what we do! Right?

In any event, every body has their own particular reasons, for doing what they do. Big and small business owners, and or service providers alike.

They most definitely have specific goals in mine, (as should you or I),when they/we advertise, market and or promote their various, products and or services etc.

And rightfully so.With that as a pretty realistic back drop. Let’s take a much closer look, at how some of the really crafty small business owners and or service providers among us.

Literally create armies of enthusiastic, non conventional sales reps, who gladly help spread the word, (both) on and off social media.

And the best part is, they don’t necessarily have to be on your payroll!

So How Do Some Extremely Savvy Small Business And Or Service Providers Actually Build An Enthusiastic Army Of Aggressive Sales Reps?

(And How Can You Actually Do It Too?)

So let’s take an extremely marketing savvy beverage distributor, that has national ties to various exotic, (translated) higher end beverage drinks.

You know, drinks like, exotic and extremely great tasting gourmet coffee and or ice teas or cocoas or lemonades etc.

And this particular extremely marketing savvy distributor, is looking for some non traditional, creative ways, of getting the word out in some of the major, (prime consumer) markets, without having to constantly rely solely on, outrageously expensive traditional advertising and or promotional campaigns.

Instead, they’re going to attempt to build some serious, (long term) consumer loyalty and product recognition.

Simply by helping other non competitive small business owners and or service providers, build and retain their extremely loyal customers/client and or patients goodwill.

And they will initially start, with the following three, tried and true marketing methods, and merely tweak them, as best they can,as they go.

Savvy Entrepreneur Prefer Consistently Generating Some Positive Word Of Mouth And Mouse Buzz!

1.) Non conventional marketing strategy #one: First, they will approach various, (popular) upscale nail and hair salon owners.

And ask if they’d like an inexpensive way of increasing their customer loyalty? And here’s the initial way the extremely savvy beverage distributor will help them do that.

As soon as they find out, which day or days of the week, are traditionally the slowest days for both the hair & nail salon owners,They will do two things, to immediately help them out.

First, (if) the hair or nail salon owners are, (either) exotic gourmet coffee or tea or lemonade drinkers.

The distributors will provide the owners and any of their staff that also enjoy either beverages, with free 10 lbs samples, of the beverages of their choice! Say what?  😀

And their thinking here is, let them try it at home, and hopefully if or when they fall in love with the product.

They will (both) consistently re order, plus gladly share some with extremely close friends, in laws and or neighbors etc.  😀

And going forward, they get to re-order (for life), and pay actual hard cost, as long as they purchase ten pound bags or higher!

Otherwise, if they order under ten pounds of exotic gourmet coffee or tea, they get to pay retail price!

And you can bet, the extremely loyal customers that love their exotic gourmet beverages, will most definitely help spread the word, on and off social media!Correct?  😀

Savvy Small Business Owners Can Make Giant Strides Simply By Helping Others Vendors Succeed As Well!

 2.) Non conventional marketing strategy #two: The other initial strategy they will test, in order to help spread the word as fast and relatively inexpensive as possible.

As well as help other non competing vendors,as in the case of the nail and hair salon owners, they will also provide those owners with free monthly samples, of their choice of exotic gourmet coffee and or tea, to provide to their customers, on the their traditionally slowest days of the year.

And remember, since these are upscale hair and or nail salons. More than likely, the women that frequent these businesses, not only earn very nice disposable incomes themselves.

But they also know, and or are directly related to other, potential gourmet coffee/tea/lemonade lovers as well.

And they can (both) introduce to the beverages, as well as purchase them for birthdays and or anniversary gifts etc!

And that includes neighbors, as well as co-workers etc!And some of these ladies, are most definitely extremely active on the various social media platforms!Are they not? You bet.

Your Best Lead Generation Strategies Will Be Far More Effective And Profitable When You Seek To Help Others!

 3.) Non conventional marketing strategy #three: The third initial strategy, which (is actually a two pronged marketing approach),the savvy beverage distributor will attempt to employ is, initially they will also approach some of the smaller, independent book store owners in the area.

 1.) And initially offer the owners, and all of their employees, free ten pound samples of their choice, of any exotic gourmet coffee, cocoa, lemonade or tea, they wish to sample.

And going forward, the exact same deal as with the hair and nail salon owners.Meaning, as long they order ten pound bags or higher, they only pay the distributors actual hard cost, plus any & all applicable shipping and handling fees etc.

But any future orders under ten pounds, and they pay the retail distributors normal retail price. Obviously, the distributors (long range) thinking here is, the larger order (and re-order) each customer makes, the more likely they are to share the gourmet coffee or tea, with brand new, potential first time customers!  😀

And, you best believe, a certain percentage of these first time exposed individuals, that are introduced to these great tasting exotic gourmet beverages, the more of them will become long term,extremely loyal repeat customers as well! Don’t you agree?

Thank Goodness Crafty Entrepreneurs Don’t Have Limitations Placed On Marketing Creativity!

2.) And the other promotional leg of the distributors long term marketing strategy is, they will also approach various, smaller venue, independently owned, art gallery studios.

And whenever these studio owners schedule any local events, the distributor will gladly supply free ten pound samples, of some of their best tasting gourmet coffees and or teas, for the gallery owners to serve to their customers.

Because remember, these individuals, not only have disposable income to spend on fancy art work, but they will certainly know other, highly influential local individuals, that are also exotic gourmet coffee/cocoa/lemonade and or tea lovers too! Right?

And each vendor will be given a stack of the distributors best market tested, (lead capture page) based business cards, that way, any card holder can enter the distributors monthly free drawing, and receive periodic email/mobile marketing follow up messages and extremely “time sensitive close out sales offers as well!)

Savvy Entrepreneurs Readily Understand Your Business And Or Service Has Both A Front And Back End!

And of course, when they throw their house parties and host other social events etc; they will want to serve some of the distributors great tasting, exotic gourmet beverages!

And as they initially order and re-order,(and order for friends and family members or co-workers etc.)

That my friend is “how” some incredibly crafty, small business owners and or service providers, build a literal army of  (non conventional) advertising sales reps, that may not necessarily be on their or your payroll! Any questions?Now as is customary during this part of our show.

    I have seen this kind of marketing in action and it sure works so well. My step son is a pretty big marketer. He helps start-up companies make millions. This reminded me of how he started giving away an ice tea drink just like you mentioned here. He did his homework and found where to go to ask to set up his wares. Then had others go to all these places and just give out a bottle of expensive iced tea to all the customers.

    Low and behold, the company got known very quickly. People spent a pretty penny purchasing that product. I think it is all a matter of making everyone profit.

    This is one of the best marketing strategies used by many and always works!
