Introducing The Seven Sinister Ways Your Small Business Constantly Holds You Hostage!Part Two

As you previously discovered in part one, of this ongoing series, about how, (sadly) some extremely dedicated and talented entrepreneurs, unfortunately are systematically being held hostage by their (so called) dream small business.

Even though that definitely wasn’t their initial intentions, when they first decided to go into business for themselves, now was it? Yet as more and more times goes on, they quickly began to come grips with this all too unpleasant reality!

And what once used to bring them nothing but joy, as suddenly evolved into a dreaded nightmare!

That now routinely causes their blood pressure to rise and their piece of mind to occur far to infrequently! The remainder of this post will disclose at least two more all too common reasons,why you’re dream small business, may be holding you or a loved one hostage!

And what you can and must do about it right now, in order to finally start taking the steps necessary, to finally get free!

So How Does Your Small Business Constantly Hold You Or A Loved One Hostage?

As yo previously discovered in part one, nobody goes in with (business) eyes wide open, expecting and or secretly hoping that somehow or another, their dream small business will whined up holding hostage,right?

But as things evolve, for better or worse, but especially as it begins to become blatantly obvious that cash flow is (early on anyway) perpetually unstable and unreliable.

This is when the hostage situation starts to really take hold! Case in point:Here’s at least three more ( totally avoidable ways your small business is systematically holding you or a loved one hostage.And what you can and must do about it asap!

4.) Sinister way # four: This next one is all too familiar, and unfortunately far too common as well. It starts out that because your current gross profit margins, (for whatever reasons) are far too razor thin!

And you’ve aggressively chased some of the larger corporate accounts, and in order to secure them initially, you’ve practically given all your profit margin away!  Sound familiar?

And as a result, you’re literally on pins and needles, (both) emotionally and financially, hoping they won’t or don’t pull out after their initial trial period is over!

Because if they do, it’s quite possible, you’ll have a major gap in your operating capital,correct? on the other hand, if they decide to stay, and they all but state verbally, pretty much the only way they will do so, is if you keep your prices exactly where they are now!Ouch!

And you know you’re only kicking the can down the road, because at so little gross profit margins, you’re goose is all but cooked!

And as a net result, the self imposed financial handcuffs, just got uncomfortably tighter,have they not!boy discounting to the bare bones minimum, in order to get that huge local account, seemed like a really good idea at the time!Did it not?

While Consistently Applying Some Of The Best Small Business Marketing Strategies May Not Immediately Make You Rich! (They Will Definitely Prevent You Or A Loved One From Systematically Being Held Hostage!)

5.) Sinister way # five: And of course, the very close cousin to being systematically held hostage by a local major account; is desperately trying to build a long term sustainable business, off the bottom feeding twenty percent-ers of your customer/client base!

Which is another one of those proposals, that while it may somehow (initially) look good on paper or as you bounce it off your business partner(s) as you head to the bank to apply for that initial line of credit and or temporary bridge loan etc!

My friend, (without a doubt) it’s one of those “no win” strategies, that whines of costing you and your totally befuddled associates, far more than money! The main reason being, they tend to absorb far more in readily available resources, than they provide bankable cash flow!

Because rarely if ever to them spend enough, nor do they spend frequently enough or refer others to do the same, to justify the time, money and other extremely valuable and limited resources they consistently consume!

Entrepreneur, that’s the primary reason they’re so often referred to as the bottom twenty percent-ers! 😎

This Is Why You Gotta Start Being More Select About Who You Take On As A Customer Or Client!

6.) Sinister way # sixYou know entrepreneur, it’s really sad, the only value you see in the vendor that physically delivers the water to your office every month,is that they physically deliver the water!Huh?

How many offices, especially upscale professional offices, do you think they or some of the more experienced delivery people service each month?

You think they be servicing any thriving dental offices, chiropractors, law offices, CPA’s or upscale local women’s clothing stores and local hair salons? And do you think any of these successful professionals, may just happen to have more than one location?Yea so?

Yea so! You sell really nice eye catching jewelry do you not?So “why” not offer the delivery person (and their spouse) and or significant other, some really nice bling, at your actual cost, provided they spent at least $1,500 dollars or more!

So in other words, because you really want them and their spouse and or significant other to really make a splash!

Guarantee them they can purchase any initial piece they want, at your actual cost, as long as your actual cost is at least $1,500 dollars!

Your Small Business Was Not Started To Systematically Hold You Captive!

Meaning; that $3,200 dollar women’s diamond studded necklace, which currently retails for $3,547 dollars on their WordPress website/blog, will only cost them $1,500 big ones!

And that really cool $2,500 dollar, Men’s Rolex watch which really gets them all hot and bothered, will only cost them $1,250 dollars!(And you’ll even offer them terms.)

And of course you make it crystal clear to them your true intentions for your perceived generosity! You want access to that potential upscale clientele they interact with!

And by them, and hopefully some of the other drivers constantly and gladly showcasing your eye catching bling to a whole new potential customer base, along with that upscale customer base’s immediate professional and personal inner circle!

Entrepreneur, you’re not only going to inexpensively gain more positive word of mouth and mouse! But over time, as you consistently apply these six battlefield tested antidotes, your dream small business, will stop systematically holding you hostage! Don’t you agree?
