How The Ultimate Insiders Strategically Use Their Asset Management Skills To Out Fox Their Competitors!Part Two

As you previously discovered in part one of this ongoing series about, how the effective and  creative use of asset management skills, can and often does lead to some potentially lucrative  (short and long term) marketing opportunities.Don’t you agree?

And the really savvy entrepreneurial thinkers among us, can find some creative (non  traditional) ways to out fox their major competitors by effectively utilizing theirs,correct?

And the best part is, it’s not about the actual size of their business and of service.It’s more of a  mindset shift.

Because strategic asset management just involves inventorying exactly what you currently  have, in terms of (both) tangible and intangible assets, and figuring out previously untapped  and or explored areas and ways to creatively “benefit” from them.

Over and over, for years and years to come!And this creative (non traditional) use, may not  merely be limited to your extremely valuable and loyal customer/client base. It might also involve (potentially) benefiting your current and future employees and or vendors etc.

And all because of a simple mind shift or two.As you are about to discover.

So How Do Really Savvy Local Small Business Owners And Or Service Providers Creatively Use Their Asset Management Skills To Out Fox Their Major Competitors?

(And Make A Lot More Money By Doing So!)

As you recall in part one, a national car rental company, (that was currently in fifth place in terms of their current market share.) They strategically placed a simple 8.5 x 11 inch two sided flyer on the drivers seat of every car they have for lease,asking their paying customers if they knew of any individual and or company that had documented proof of their ability to build a highly responsive opt in email/mobile marketing list.

And if they had already taken any reputable companies (virtually) from zero, to over 25,000 opt ins, in twenty fours months or less!And because of the sheer numbers of cars they leased per day and or week etc.

They were bound to (at some point) come in contact with a qualified individual or two and or a company, with the right set of skills, they could profit share with on a 25% (and or X%)of the monthly gross profit basis, as opposed to paying them any type of standard (upfront) out of pocket cost, consulting fee.

And the flyer also offered an ongoing annual referral fee credit, for any one that personally introduced the car agency to such an individual and or company. And the ongoing referral fee amounted to a $5,000 dollar a year air travel credit, which included, round trip airfare, four or five star hotel accommodations and daily and or weekly car rental costs etc!

The agency picks up the first $,5000 dollars per year in travel expense credit,for as long as the relationship with the vendor that was referred is in place, and the referral agent is legally responsible for any unpaid annual balances above the stated amount.

Just Because You’re A Small Business Owner And Or Service Provider Doesn’t Automatically Mean You Can’t Profit From Your Creative Asset Management Skills Too!

Case in point; let’s say that you’re a local (non franchised) car/truck rental business owner. And at any given time you have a grand total of 300- 600 cars (or trucks) for daily or weekly rent/ lease on your lot.

Watch “how” you might potentially apply the exact same marketing strategy of placing a two sided 8.5 x 11 inch flyer (of some kind) on the drivers seat of every vehicle on your lot.and figure out a way to profit from doing so, just like the large national car rental chains do!

For starters, you will start strategically list building, simply by placing a two sided 8.5 x 11 inch flyer on the drivers seat of each car or truck on your lot as well

Side (A.) will direct your customers to your mobile responsive WordPress blogs special lead capture page, so they can immediately enter your “free” monthly drawing, for a chance to win $3,000 dollars in car rental credits and a $1,000 dollars in gas card credits!

Now it’s probably a rather safe assumption that not every person that rents/leases a car or truck from you is not a man,correct?That being the case, your lead capture page will ask “if” your entrant would like to save an additional 15% off  (or X% off) the cost of their daily and or weekly car/truck rental fee, simply by filling out a brief 10 – 12 question survey!

And the survey will go on to explain, that strictly for marketing demographics purposes, so that (going forward) the car rental agency and some of their various local affiliates will be better able to serve and meet their ever growing and constantly changing needs! 😎 

They will ask for the entrants sex, (birth date), but just the month and day, not the year! 😎 They’ll ask whether they’re married and or single.They’ll ask if they currently run their own business and or if they work somewhere else etc.

If they work elsewhere, basically what’s the current break down between “how” many women and men?

On average, “how” many times they rent/lease a car per year and (on average) “how” many days or weeks (at a time) they rent it for.

“How” much (if any) traveling they do and both domestically and abroad.And are they okay with receiving periodic updates from various local affiliate companies, (joint venture partners) of the car agency,by way of the car rental agencies (emails and or mobile text messages etc.)

Part Of  Providing Really Good Service Is Collecting Extremely Accurate Data!

Meaning: from time to time, the car rental agency will send out (time sensitive) solicitation emails/mobile messages for special VIP savings on various products and or services, like discounted domestic or International air travel packages, or special clearance sales on luggage, ( special alerts from local car companies) that are selling at “They must get these cars and or trucks off their lot now prices!”, closed to the general public sales events!

And or super VIP savings on flower packages for birthdays, Mothers and or Valentines Day etc!Car Insurance premiums savings and overseas travel packages discounts etc. And from upscale local bakeries that specialize in gourmet,calorie rich chocolates etc! 😉

And every now and then, car the rental agency itself, will hold private by (email and or text message invitation only) used car/truck auctions.

Where their customers can bid on various slightly used, but extremely popular cars and or trucks! 😎 But here’s where it really gets interesting.(So please pay close attention!)

Let’s say that a woman arranges to rent a car for a week. On the backside of her particular flyer (side B.), she will be directed to look in (either) the glove compartment and or the trunk! 😎

If she’s told to look in the glove compartment, and you best believe she will asap! 😎 (Sometimes) there will be a small gift wrapped box with one woman’s diamond studded earring in the box! 😎

And both earrings typically retail for $300 dollars! And a note, (actually) a two sided glorified business card, from a local joint venture partner jeweler.

And the card would be hand dated, so that the woman (or whoever she gives it to 😉 ) has ten days from that date to:(A.) Join the jewelers VIP new customers only opt in email  (and or mobile marketing) list and automatically save 35% off their first three purchases, within the next 18 months!With no minimum purchase requirement!

And (B.) Bring at least one new potential customer (over 18) with them to the jewelers store, and automatically get the other diamond studded earring (which is a $150 dollar value) for free!

Can You See How Some Of These Incredibly Simple Small Business Marketing Strategies Can Eventually Lead To Some Massive Long Term Profits!

Otherwise, they can simply come alone and or come after the hand written date on the card expires, and pay the jewelers actual cost of $75 dollars and purchase the other earring! 😎

And their guest will automatically get a beautiful charm bracelet (easily valued at $100 dollars or more), and they only pay $30 dollars!And “if” the savvy guest decides to join the jewelers opt in email/mobile list right then and there, they also automatically get a chance to purchase a beautiful pair of women’s diamond studded earrings, (similar to the ones her friend/relative got) that would normally retail for $250 dollars!

And they only pay $80 dollars or X! Can you say hello FB, twitter, Pintrest and Instagram! 😎

Not to mention texting and talking it up like crazy at the next break at work and or while they’re working out in the gym with their best girlfriend etc!
