Marketing Strategy: So What Is It You Can Learn From Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry Character?

So ladies & gentlemen, have you ever seen any of the classic Clint  Eastwood “blockbuster” movies from the (oh so street wise cop) “Dirty  Harry” series?

And “what do tell” extremely profitable marketing  strategy can you possibly learn from it, even if you did?

“Dirty Harry Callahan”  (as you recall) was the updated reincarnation movie screen character, superstar movie icon Clint Eastwood morphed  into, after his days as a nomad renegade “spaghetti western” movie star days came to an end!

Hey, the 60’s were over and the 70’s brought on the need for an updated  more modern day character!

So he sort or abruptly dropped the (seven day stubble), cigar smoking, vigilante western look, for a more clean shaven, sports coat suit wearing, street wise cop, nicked named “Dirty Harry Callahan”, as he and his police buddy cohorts constantly patrolled the streets of San Francisco California.

Literally causing the bad boys (and sometimes girls) to quake in their boots, as he systematically brought them to justice, one way or another! 😀

Sometimes by literally taking no prisoners, as he pretty much single handley popularized, (and literally) re-branded himself, this time as a modern day, one man show super cop, whose two best friends were named “Smith & Wesson!” 😎

Because of the high powered 44 Magnum handgun he kept with him, practically all the time! And just like another movie icon, “Jack Nicholson” had done with his classic line in the movie “The Shining”, when he uttered the words, “Here’s Johnny!”

Clint also pinned a famous phrase that would become one of his signature lines, “Go ahead, make my day!” The remainder of this post will reveal, an incredibly powerful and potentially profitable marketing strategy, that all extremely savvy marketers can and should definitely learn from “Dirty Harry’s exploits!

So “What” Extremely Profitable Marketing Strategy Can You Possibly Learn From Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry Character?

Before we get to that. Let me quickly share a story that really lends itself well to the main point of this particular post. Recently, while on my way to the DMV, that’s always fun, right?

I came across this sign posted in a townhouse window, it simply read: “These premises are guarded four days a week by a gun toting vigilante!Care to guess which four?”

Bingo entrepreneur!Huh? You see, one of the other blockbuster classic lines, that Clint’s “Dirty Harry” character also became famous for, was when he uttered the instant classic line, The question you have to ask yourself is, do you feel lucky?” Well, do ya punk?

And there in lies the extremely (potentially profitable) marketing opportunity!Huh?Entrepreneur, whenever you snail mail and (especially) when you email your extremely valuable opt in subscribers.
