Yea, that old thing again. Believe it or not, here’s an eye opening stat that will totally blow your mind.
An associate of mine that just happens to be in a business that deals with fancy graphic web design, for small business owners, service providers and or entrepreneurs of all shapes and sizes etc.
And other extremely complex techie stuff, (not totally sure what!) Anyway, he’s also very familiar with top end (state of the art) paid email service providers, because his company also (in certain situations) provides that service to certain high end customers as well.
And he recently shared with me that (on average) a staggering 20-40% of their paid email service provider customers and clients (of all levels mind you!), haven’t even sent one follow up email message to their list, after sending them that very important “thank you” (and or) welcome message!
Say what? Nod your head cadets,because is it’s true! So the real purpose of this post, is to help you get over your (self inflicted) phobia of writing your all important follow up email marketing messages to your list, even if you totally suck (or think you suck) at writing in general!
Because this particular email marketing tactic (thank goodness), doesn’t involve the type of email marketing, you’re probably used to!
So How Do Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Such As Yourself Effectively Use Email Marketing Even If You Totally Suck (Or Think You Totally Suck) At Writing In General?
First of all, before you dive head long into this particular proven email marketing tactic, lets first layout an incredibly simple, battlefield tested overall three step (email marketing) formula that (practically) any serious entrepreneur, small business owner and or service provider (such as yourself) can or should consistently implement as often as possible.
Because (A) it’s totally not hard and (B) it’s incredibly simple and straight forward and it allows you to leverage other local struggling small business owners and or service providers phobia’s, about consistently writing follow up email marketing messages to their subscribers.
(And you’ll both make out like bandits long term! You’ll discover more about “how” in part two!)
However, let’s be crystal clear right up front. In order for you (or anybody) else to effectively take advantage of this incredibly simple, and (straight forward) email marketing tactic, you or somebody’s is definitely gonna need a state of the art paid email service provider, that offers- unscheduled- (broadcast) email marketing capabilities.
(Note: Broadcast emails are just spur of the moment email messages that you can send to your subscribers, anytime you wish, (think of them as a text message), that isn’t a part of your regular pre – written email – autoresponder- marketing follow up sequences.
And you can either schedule to send them out right after they’re written, and edited for spelling and grammatical errors etc. Or you can schedule to send them out sometime later.)

Whether you totally suck at writing (in general) or not! Because this battlefield tested tactic, (thank goodness), is not based on how well you can or cannot write strategic email follow up messages!
Believe It Or Not Follow Up Strategic Email Marketing Is Not About How Well You Can Or Cannot Currently Write!
1.) Proven email marketing tactic # one: Entrepreneur, (going forward) make sure that the very first email you send to any future list you create (for your) business, product and or service and or any joint venture partner and or co promotion partner etc; that you create an email message for, is that all important “thank you” for subscribing to my/our list.
And here’s “what” you can expect going forward type of message.
Just make your first message short and sweet! And be sure you talk (write) in your own authentic voice, that way they really get to know the real you and they get a feel for the real culture of your business.
And if asking you to write (even) one or two paragraphs like that is still too much for you at this particular stage, then get someone else in your company to help and or do it for you! But don’t you dare outsource writing your initial (all important) “thank you” (welcome)message!
2.) Proven email marketing tactic # two: Make your very first (actual) follow up message (or first few follow up messages), a simple “hey” just wanted to be sure that you’ve, (both) had a chance to (either) download or watch or listen to the blank that you recently opted in for!
And basically find out if there was anyway I/we could be of further assistance to you initially! If not, that’s fine! Don’t forget you’re only one (email, phone call, text message and or appointment away from “finally” helping solve, and or aggressively address “whatever” it is you originally opted into my/our list for!
3.) Proven email marketing tactic # three: Entrepreneur, step three in your proven email marketing formula, (the really cool email marketing tactic BTW), is when you or one of your soon to be joint venture partners and or cross promotion partners decides to send an impromptu (unscheduled) “broadcast” email message (or several) of them to your subscribers, to make them aware of “whatever.”
