  1. The best tip that I find in this article is: “Do it already” 😉

So often we KNOW what we should be doing, and we don’t do it. I know that I am at my best, if I meditate every day. Do I do it every day… oh no…

    Makes you wonder, right?

    Great article,
    Linda

    • Here here Linda!

Yea, just like the Nike slogan says! And you’re so right, some how
knowing what to do and doing and two different things!

And then we wonder why we’re not moving ahead? Great advice!
Let’s all strive to be a little more about doing and less about
      talking about doing!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!

  2. Suggestion number two really resonates with me. Keep doing the same things and you are going to keep getting the same results. Initially, this is awesome – you have a brilliant idea, you follow through on it to completion, and then you keep trying to do the same things to get different results. Guess what? It doesn’t work. Not for me, at least 😉

But keep yourself on your toes, do something different every once in a while – drive home on a different route, engage in an activity or outing that you otherwise wouldn’t, strike up a conversation with a stranger in a social setting – it’s amazing the world of opportunities that reveal themselves when you step outside your routine.

I’ve experienced this firsthand, without always appreciating why it was happening. Your article has brought a bit more clarity to the reasoning behind it. Thanks Mark, great stuff!

    • Great points Dave!

Let’s all strive to break out of routines every now
      and again!

I really like your advice about striking up a conversation in a social
      setting.

who know’s it just might be a potential game changer! Thanks Dave!

You’ve really added nicely to the conversation! And you’ve offered some
incredibly sound suggestions! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!

Your fabulous input is greatly appreciated!

  3. Great suggestions Mark. You know me, I’m all about self awareness so I think one of the best things anyone can do is to identify what circumstances put them in a state that sparks creative thinking. Getting exercise, especially outdoors is one way that works for many people – including moi. Your suggestion to mix things up is spot on. In fact I find the key for many people is to completely shift their thinking away from the problem for a time. It’s like when you’ve tried and tried to remember a word and it’s only when you get fed up and shift your attention to something else that it suddenly pops into your mind. 🙂

  4. Hi Mark,

Great post and tips to unleash our mind’s creativity.

I liked tip # 1 about physical exercise. I find that exercise is a great way to refresh your mind and give you the energy needed to think and focus to get those creativity juices flowing.

Also, as per the video, cleaning the working area and organizing it and make it free of clutter, has a huge role in keeping you focused as I feel clutter drains the energy and scatter you all around.

I think we are in control of our own minds and our success.

Thanks Mark for a great share as always. Enjoy the rest of your week.

    • Absolutely Neamat!

I’m definitely in your camp when it comes to relying on
some type of consistent physical exercise to help jump start
      our natural creative juices.

It sort of clears your mind and let’s you see things from a whole new
      creative perspective.

And like you pointed out, keep your work area and or areas clutter
free really helps to focus your energy!
As always, your positive and extremely keen insights are much appreciated!

As well as your continuous support. Both are greatly appreciated!
