So What Does An Offline Real Estate Investment Have To Do With Making Money Online?

Have you ever really examined how some of the extremely savvy cruise ship lines  (like Norwegian), turn your typical (raw) previously undeveloped land, real estate investment into a colossal home run? It’s true. Case in point; Norwegian cruise ships (often) finds obscure (translated) relatively inexpensive parcels of raw undeveloped(although strategically placed) land, in really emerging in demand exotic locations! Around the globe.

And then they start strategically putting in place other marketing pieces that help drive other commerce into the areas where they own commercially zoned undeveloped raw land! (Extremely savvy rascals that they are!)

Here’s where one of the major potential long term payoffs comes for them. As other major players, like major hotel chains such as the Marriott corporation and others, are constantly looking for the next emerging ideal exotic location to build (yet another) luxury hotel or two.

They come across (what they perceive to be) the next emerging ideal exotic location and low and behold, here’s this potential parcel of undeveloped raw land ( that coincidentally) just happens to currently be owned by one of the Norwegian cruise ship’s holding companies. Now here’s where and how the (all too typical) real estate developer goes about making money with their undeveloped raw land portfolio.

They pray that (if nothing else) , Disney or some other major player expresses a public interest in purchasing part of or their entire parcel of undeveloped raw land! Because just the fact that Disney (or major) corporation X, expresses public interest in that land! Guess which direction that lands value goes! You got that right! So get ready to discover a powerful lesson that an offline real estate investment can and should teach you about!

What Does Your Offline Real Estate Investment Have To Do With Making Money Online?

Picking up where the last paragraph left off. Your all too typical real estate developer, hopes that when they purchase that parcel of raw undeveloped (commercially zoned) undeveloped land, that some major corporation like Disney will express public interest in buying all or at least part of it!

Because obviously, if you own raw land next to anything with Disney’s name on it, you’re going probably do okay, when you go to lease or sell!

So Norwegian puts the word out that they would seriously consider leasing their land rights to the the major hotel chain, or they might seriously consider, selling it outright to a major player like the Marriott corporation, for a staggering 20-40% below it’s current or (highly anticipated) future value! Say what? How’s that for an initial (lead generating) marketing ploy!

That’s correct! Norwegian (or cruise ship company X), will sell or lease this ideal parcel of land to Marriott or Disney or whoever for X% below it’s current fair market value (and rising!) in exchange for a minor 3-15% stake in the hotel! Say what? Bingo!

That’s the ultimate prize that Norwegian (or whoever the current land owner ), is really after! And now Norwegian strategically points out, they will will gladly aggressively market Marriott’s hotel in this emerging exotic location, to all their current and future passengers!

Think about the numbers! Norwegian currently has about a 10% market share and in an industry that does upwards of 37 billion annually! That isn’t exactly peanuts, now is it?

But what (pray tell) if anything, does that have to do with making any money online? So glad you asked! Try this train of (long term) marketing thought.

Norwegian asks it’s passengers via a short online survey and ethically bribes them to do so! They ask them to name at least three other industries, products or services, that they’d like to save money on!

Offline Businesses Can Teach You A Lot About Successfully Making Money Online!

And let’s say the following five suggestions, head the list.

1.) Save money on national and International airline travel.

2.) Save money on car rentals.

3.) Save money on top of the line luggage and other related traveling accessories. Like really fancy cameras.

4.) Save money on lobster.(Hey, you gotta live a little, right?)

Your Current And Future Customers Or Clients Can Provide You With A Ton Of Extremely Valuable Inside Information!

5.) Save money on business travel deductions and other related business expenses! (Some extremely savvy CPA and or accountant should get busy producing their free opt in special report or free lead generating DVD giveaway, detailing -step by step- how to save money on various business related, travel expenses, without raising IRS suspicions!)

Bonus suggestion:

6.) Save money on luxury hotel fees! When and wherever legally possible!

Here’s what Norwegian and or (any other) extremely savvy marketer does with this rather inexpensive scientifically gathered information! They approach at least two of the top companies in each industry.

And they offer to revenue split lead generate for them! Here’s how. Remember that one sided flyer that slip under every passengers cabin  door (that was revealed) in a previous post?

This flyer will drive the passengers (initially) to a market tested opt in free drawing offer! And then in several of the subsequent follow up email/text messages, will direct the subscribers to a market tested CPA (cost per action) offer of some kind!

Where Norwegian will have negotiated (either) a so much per click offer or (the much preferred) $3-$15 dollars per lead contact form filled out offer! See how that might work! Is that some really sweet and totally passive income or what?
